Busy Bianca; Relay For Life 2014 Build

Hello to the peeps taking a look here.  I apologize for not having blogged anything for so long.  As you can see below, I've been rather busy, first with Fashion for Life sim build and now for the RFL event sim build/design for the Survivor/Caregiver campsite @ RFL Survive sim.  Half of the sim is a Maze, that from above you can see the paths spell out key words for the event, and the other half I've used the mushroom rocks of Studio-Skye to create elevated garden spaces in memory of both those lost to this horrible disease and those who have survived and are still in the fight.  RFL of Second Life starts tomorrow @ 10am SLT with opening ceremonies and runs for 24hours straight!  Come out! Nautical Sway

 The themes this go round for many of the events happening all over the grid are nautical in nature, whether it's The Liaison Collaborative, Collabor88, or even Sway's Fifty Linden Friday findings, you'll find this theme running throughout.  I find it nice, that no matter which event I choose to pick my goodies from, they will all in some way mix and match and work well together for the summer season.  Details below! Fashion For Life 2014: Builder Raffles!

 Come to Fashion for Life for a chance to win great prizes in the Builder's Raffles!  Each sim designer who so chooses will be raffling off pieces of their sim designs!  Myself, I thought why not share the beauty of the cars that dot the landscape of FFL Amble, so here you are.  You can either purchase tickets for the Surplus Autos Raffle, or the Jupiter Motors Raffle.  Either raffle entitles the winner to a voucher for a free, fully functioning car, of their choice from these two generous designers that donated the cars throughout the FFL Amble sim.

 Welcome to FFL Parade, the theme is Pedal Power! *has flash backs to Scrappy Doo* Ok, I'm back.  Anyway as I was saying the lovely structures behind me are all part of FFL Parade designed by the very talented Pluto Fairey, there are floating air balloon'd bikes as well as rickshaws scattered around the build.  It's a very Mayan feeling sim, the tall stacked stone columns and stone edifices.  I paired the sim with the stunning gown by Poet's Heart, with the plunging tank and layered belts all in the fantastic oranges and yellows it screamed sun goddess to me, paired with shoes from Essenz, hair from Damselfly, and the lovely skin from B&C and I'm ready to greet the sunrise and be worshiped!  You know the deal right? Fashion For Life 2014: Lacuna, Nya, Even.Flow, EMO-tions, & Uncertain Smile

Cramming them in! This post I have a whole mash up of designers represented!  I found the blazer first, It. Has. An. OWL. Thank you Even.Flow!! I may have a slight obsession with owls.  Then I had to hunt for the pants, for some reason i wanted orange, Nya had the perfect shade!  I blame the owl again.  The shoes are a lovely pair of sandals from Lacuna, and the fun casual braid by EMO-tions ties it all together nicely!  The floating oasis you see behind me is FFL Wander, again from the mind of Dagger the same designer from FFL Promenade, he stepped up and helped out in a pinch with this one and I'd say he did a fabulous job!  The theme for the sim is Flying (Non-Mechanical), so what better way to capture the sim and it's essence then by getting carried away by clouds tied to strings from Uncertain Smile. Fashion For Life 2014: LeeZu! & HollyHood

 "To infinity and beyond!"  How do you like my space pad?  Amazing right!  All from the creative brain of Rathmeous Dagger, otherwise known as just Dagger.  His amazing build for the space travel portion of the Fashion For Life Wanderlust theme is located at FFL Promenade.  He has erected a marvelous space station with towers and space pods.  I found this one with a great vista of the build and had to turn it into my own little space pad!  My fashion pick is LeeZu's wonderfully strappy in the middle futuristic looking (to me anyway) dress BonBon, paired with HollyHood's sky high stiletto heels that look like they could do some serious damage if one were so inclined.  Fashion credits below! *quick note on how i got the background to look like the build is actually in space, under advanced settings and rendering types I deselected -Surface Patch, -Water, & -Ground.  Thought it gave the effect i wanted of the station floating out in space instead of above water or land! 

  

Fashion for Life 2014: PurpleMoon Creations

 Fashion for life is open!  And, I shall continue my tour of the sims and showcasing the talents of many of the designers you will find within the shops through out the 10 sims themed towards Wanderlust and modes of transportation.  The sim you see in the back ground is FFL Journey, who's builder is TotalLunar Eclipse, it's a steam punk theme, so I thought this lovely dress and top hat by PurpleMoon called Time Traveller seemed the appropriate choice.  Fashion credits below, enjoy!  GO RELAY!
